Okay - so here's the deal: you pick a book, you read the book, you pass the book on to someone else in this, the Slow Motion Book Club (C). Discussion of said book will then follow in the comments under the posting for each book on this here blog. The books: preferably a paperback that you already own, and like, and want to share. It's kinda like a cross between that public book-sharing deal (I forget what it's called) and a regular old book club. But online, with no baking or potlucks required, and progressed very very slowly. Huzzah!
Since some of us live in, oh, Calgary or Montreal or Dartmouth, passing the books on will likely involve some small shipping fees; unavoidable, unless we want to make this a reeeeaaaally slow motion book club and hold on to the books until the next time you see the next person on the list. Note: list TBD. If you've been directed to the site by me, assume you are on the list. Feel free to forward this to anyone else who might be interested.
If you are in, I'll add you as a blog author, which will allow you to add posts and propose books and initiate discussion whenever. Also, feel free to propose and pass on a book at any time.
